Firm Focus

We've been practicing law for a combined 50 years and we've found that our clients truly appreciate the time and effort we put into every aspect of their business. We're here to help you succeed.   We have litigated a wide variety of intellectual property cases, in the state and federal courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent Office.   We also have extensive experience helping our clients protect their valuable intellectual property, including as a Registered Patent Attorneys licensed to represent clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, from prosecuting patent applications, trademark applications, and litigating before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.   We have also counseled clients on licensing, clearance searches, and contracts involving all forms of intellectual property, such as trade secret, non-disclosure and non-competition agreements.

This uncommon focus on business disputes, particularly those with an intellectual property component, also allows Jim to bring a unique skill set and perspective to my mediation practice that lets us suggest creative solutions so the parties can consider a wide array of settlement options.

Of the nearly 100,000 attorneys licensed to practice in Florida, less than 150 -- or 0.15% -- are certified by the Florida Bar as Experts in Intellectual Property.

Even fewer are also Registered Patent Attorneys, authorized to represent clients before the U.S. Patent Office.

And fewer yet are also Certified by the Florida Supreme Court to serve as Mediators.
